We all want a place to belong, to be known, and explore what we believe. Teens and preteens are no different. ECC Youth helps provide opportunities to build relationships and develop a faith that will carry beyond those teen years. ECC Youth is more than youth group. We offers ways to test your faith through fun get-togethers, small groups that take you deeper, and opportunities to help others. For more information about what that looks like, contact ECC.

As you may have read in our e-newsletter a few weeks ago, our High School students and leaders changed summer plans due to scheduling conflicts and are now planning to once again go on a Community Live-In Discipleship trip this summer, this time traveling to West Chicago, where they will spend a week living, serving, and having fun together as a youth group community. All the final details are in place for them to go on the trip from June 30 to July 6. 

To make the trip possible, we need to raise funds with one final fundraiser, and it’s one that was very successful last year too. You’re all invited to participate in this years Sponsored Car Wash on Friday, May 31 from 2:30 to 5:30pm and then again on Saturday, June 1 from 8:30-11:30am… for these 6 hours only, you are invited to bring your cars here to the church parking lot for a FREE car wash! The car wash is FREE because the team will be sponsored by friends and family to wash as many cars as possible. If you would like to support our students’ efforts, you can do so in three different ways: 1) Sponsor or make a flat donation to our team by contacting any of the students or leaders directly. 2) The easiest way to help… Bring your car to be washed! And 3) you can also volunteer to help! We are a small group and we could definitely use help to rinse, scrub, wash and dry cars so that we can make the process as fast as possible. 

So come join us and help us raise the last bit we need to attend this incredible discipleship experience together! If you’re interested or have any questions, please see Pastor Chuck or any of the high school students for details.

Students in grades 6-12 are invited to join us on Wednesday evenings throughout the semester for a time of snacks, getting to know other students, Bible study, and small group. We meet from 6:30-8:00pm each Wednesday in the Life Center building. Doors open at 6pm each week for those who would like to arrive early. Contact Pastor Kristin and Pastor Chuck with questions. 

Our last Youth Group Night for the school year will be on Wednesday, May 22. All 6th-12th grade students are invited, and friends are welcome! Students and leaders will celebrate the year with a Taco Night, starting at 6pm. After dinner, students will have a chance to play games and win some amazing prizes! We’d love help from our congregation in providing the ingredients for our meal. If you’re able to contribute to our taco supplies, please sign up through the ecclife.net/connect page.
