During the upcoming May 23 Congregational meeting, the Council will be bringing two important updates to the congregation, as well as presenting the Fiscal Year 21/22 budget for congregational approval. The first update will be about an important decision we want to make regarding expanding the Miller/Bauer housing ministry. We want to share what exciting things have been opening up in this ministry and where we see things heading. There are some great things happening in the lives of the families we have relationships with, and we want to continue to build into their lives with the hope of Christ. Ronda Ooms, Director of Outreach, will be presenting a recommendation for consideration for just that.
The second update will be regarding our vacant Youth Director position. We will be discussing the plan to form a Youth Director search team lead by Connections Pastor Jorden Meyers and Children’s Ministry Director Kristen Mueller. Our 5th to 12th grade members and attenders is an important part of our congregation that need to have support through this critical time of their life.
